This new soundset is a 'Best Of' sounds coming from two classic collections of synth sounds for the PC3 series called "Moose Attack" and "Vortex", and was reworked for the SP6.
The whole package of both was 150 sounds and 45 setups.
Taking the progs from a PC3 and loading them into the SP6 shows that some modifications had to be done to make them work
100 %, especially in the controllers / effects section.
As i was in the process of reworking the sounds, i thought it was the perfect moment to add some other controls to the existing ones, that's why i added in a lot of sounds some envelope controls :
Attack / Release
Attack / Decay / Release
Decay / Release
I've changed the effects chain for all of them and i put the chain i used in most of the sounds : Chorus - Delay - Reverb
If you add the other controls like filter, detune or envelope i think you really can sculpt your sounds !
And the 'save' function is so easy to use, just press the button !
All the previous setups were erased and i made 35 totally new multis.
You will find splits, layers and both...Some of them have arpeggiator settings.
Feel free to make your owns as the OS allows you to make splits and layers in a very easy way !
As you can see Vortex Attack was not just a copy / paste job from the PC3 series !
The Kurzweil SP6 is a great stage piano.....but also a powerful synthesizer !
Load "Vortex Attack" and check this out !!!
