JP-8 Intermod's is a pack of 128 sounds for your Roland Jupiter-8, just listen to the demo for a sneak peek.
You can freely download this pack from the Utility File section just above.
Please don't use the classic 'Add to cart' function, that won't work !
Informations :
There are 2 files :
- Standard JP-8 users, just click on the 'jp8_sounds.wav' file...
- Encore Electronics JP-8 users, click on the 'lp2-lp1.syx' file...
Standard Jupiter-8 :
To send the sounds to your JP-8, once you have downloaded the file, you can use any means able to play a 16 bits / 44.1 KHZ WAVE file like DAWs, samplers, etc...
Connect the output of the player to the TAPE / MEMORY LOAD input of your JP-8.
Check for level according to the JP-8 procedure.
On your JP-8, press the 'LOAD' switch.
The programs will load in about 1'40 minutes, starting from program 11 to program 88
Encore Electronics Jupiter-8 :
Use the sysex transfert procedure to load the sounds.
The sounds will load in the 1-128 slots.

Coyote14 is a happy owner of several great vintages. His Jupiter-8 is in very nice cosmetic condition and 100% working. He also managed to get the original box when he bought it ! Well done ! Playing a real Roland Jupiter 8 is something you can't forget. Soundwise, this synth is good at almost everything and it's build like a tank ! Only 2000 units were made, which make the project to get one very hard... |
