Hi,
My name is Stephane Garganigo, you may know me as 'Barb' on music forums. I program synthesizers since 1987 and was a keyboard player in 2 bands back in the 90's. I always liked making my own sounds. It all started when listening to some classic electronic records from Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dreams, Depeche Mode, Yazoo and a lot of 80's and 90's bands. From this time, i used a lot of synthesizers with different synthesis methods like the well known substractive used by classic vintages or modern hybrids and virtual analogs. I played later with FM synthesis, Linear Arithmetic and of course sample based machines. In the late 90's i started learning the Variable Architecture Synthesis Technology (VAST) from Kurzweil, and i kept using it for now 15 years . We made some of the presets of the VST's Retrologue 2 and Micrologue !

Sound Design
We had the chance to work for the company Baloran and we made the presets of the River, a great analog polyphonic multitimbral synthesizer, based on a Moog Source voice card.
